EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONALISM

JACJL Consulting is a family focused community based social service agency that provides a variety of services to those with substance abuse, mental health and family issues. We seek out contractual relationships with those stakeholders who wish to solicit services to address these issues.   Over the last decade there has been an increased emphasis on having private social service providers compete with public, often government based providers that have traditionally been in the mental health and family service arena. Our services were established in 2010 with the intent of being a provider in the North and Middle Georgia geographic area.

Our story begins with a young lady named Brittany who found herself facing a very difficult decision as a teenage girl. You see, Brittany was carrying a child while diagnosed with a life threatening disease. Medical experts told Brittany to abort the child, or she most certainly would die. Unfortunately, Brittany did die 36 hours after giving birth to a baby girl. Her brave decision to bring a new life into this world left an indelible mark on Tammie Yost. This event became the driving force behind the motivation for the President and Founder of JACJL to launch a therapy service company that could serve children and families. Brittany's legacy can be found not only in her baby girl, but countless other children who have received a chance to break the bonds of abuse and neglect to become healthy, productive individuals. 

JACJL Consulting LLC is dedicated to providing flexible, effective, and efficient services to its clients. We do this by emphasizing that staff must be flexible in terms of client service hours. Our agency is noted for its ability to perform duties for clients outside of regular business hours and outside of office confines. We also believe in providing flexibility for our staff. 

We believe in safety not only for our staff but also our clients. We believe that a well-trained staff is a treasure and self-care for our employees is a must. JACJL understands and realizes the importance of supporting children with complex needs and their families by developing individualized plans of care. The key characteristics of the process are developed by a family centered team, that is individualized based on the strengths and culture of the child and their family, that is needs rather than services driven.  JACJL incorporates The U.S. National Wraparound Initiative and each therapist is required to adhere to the ten guiding principles:
